Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

I’m sad that after only seven episodes The Crossing would be Cancelled. For the past seven weeks I have been anticipating each new episode. By the title you would think it was a religious show not SciFi and advertising the show didn’t explain much, but I gave it a chance and it captivated me. Please don’t cancel The Crossing.

ABC keeps killing all the good dramas but continues with reality TV which in my opinion just does not cut it. Loved the Keifer series Designated Survivor and was really getting into The Crossing. Whoever is making these decisions has no idea what is good or not, too bad for ABC , maybe another service will pick them up. I can think of many reality series that just need to stop like the Bachalor and Bachalorette, only my opinion. wish they would reconsider the two dramas!!!!!!!

Just got to finish up watching all the episodes. I love the show, I am shocked it has been cancelled. Good story, good characters. It had me wanting more. I hope they at least finish the 1st season to give viewers some resolution. A second season would be really nice. Why are many of the good shows cancelled on major networks but reality TV keeps coming back. This is why streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon have gained so many cutomers.

It takes viewers weeks to catch on and longer to spread the word. We live in a binge watching society and they need to take into consideration how many people save a few weeks of a show to sit down and watch all at once. Come on ABC. Give this show another season.

I love this show & thought that it got better with every episode! This is one of the very few ABC shows ive actually started watching from he beginning and followed. Come on, bring it back!! Best show in a LONG time!
I agree….love it! i am 50+ guess that demographic doesnt mean much. Maybe not enough violence, vulgarity or profanity, alternate lifestyles for ABC
