Although Dark Matter did pretty well in its first two seasons, are viewers still interested in the Raza shipmates’ backstories? Syfy seems to think so. In fact, it’s added an after-show — After Dark — for the space opera’s third season. Will Dark Matter be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.
A science fiction drama, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The Syfy TV series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: The second season of Dark Matter on Syfy averaged a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 676,000 viewers.

If if I hated every other character (which I dont), I would watch this show just for the Android! They were so smart to expand her role this year, the character is incredible & so is the actress. The writers keep a great balance of keeping her Android most the time, but letting her be human once in a while. The only character I dont like is Ryo & that story line is BORING, And Im sorry, you arent the best actor, or at least this part isnt right for you. This Friday at 9/8C on SYFY, Episode 310 (“Built, Not Born”) will offer some very interesting insight into TWO and the Android’s backstory and their mysterious past connection. It’s chock full of wonderful character moments, a few surprises and – FINALLY – a name for our Android!

Lowest ratings of the season this past week. There are at least 2 episodes left, and the ratings are still decent enough for the show to be renewed.

Actually this week was the highest rated of the season with a 38 percent increase in viewership and a 58%higher demo. It was the best episode ever though. I LOVE THIS SHOW!
I like DARK MATTER because it has an excellent cast that can be both funny and serious. This is by far my favorite show on Sci-Fi channel. The only one that comes close to it is KILLJOYS.
I absolutely love the show. There are very few programs I can’t figure out within the first 10 min… this show has me guessing though out the show.
Please keep it on.
