Stephen Dorff is a familiar face to FOX viewers who watched the second season of Star. Now, he’s back on the network in the lead role of new series called Deputy. FOX has had a tough time establishing new drama series. Will this one be any different? Will Deputy be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A gritty crime drama with the flavor of a classic Western, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

Great show with very interesting characters who are multi faceted. The plots were action packed but had substance. Please bring it back!
This was such an interesting show with really great characters and a lead who had grit. Kind of reminded my husband of John Wayne. Need to continue this show! Please bring it back!

I love that show my whole family was watching it it was pretty damn good what the hell happened wow I’m shocked we’re at the end was there getting ready to fight the grandma for custody and everything else it was actually pretty damn good show I am in shock deputy was a good show I guess it was bad ratings I did not know that everybody I talk to you like it the coolest thing about the horses the whole nine yards the dad was awesome the Sheriff’s father the family what the f*** okay bye whatever

I love the deputy show that is my favorite show and my husband’s favorite also.
I really enjoyed Deputy. I recorded each. episode. There really are cowboys left in the world, thank God! This Could have been a healthy alternative to some of the less wholesome choices on now.
Take something else off, there’s enough garbage on now and it’s good to watch something where every one isn’t jumping in and out of bed. For god’s sake switch it to another night and let use watch our show.

Please reconsider Deputy for another season my family watched every week was a joy to watch. Every time I watch a new program you cancel , I don’t think one season is enough, we just got all the characters straight!
