The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Dracula TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
Please, do not cancel the show. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is great as Dracula.
I love!!!!!! This show. If it’s low ratings, it’s probably because of bad promotion, because here it is after the first season and I’m just hearing about it! Watched all 10 episodes on demand in three days, and could not be more pleased with the plot, cast, and overall concept.
I love this show… please bring back season 2 of dracula
Yes, we need season 2! Renew! Renew! Renew! PLEASE!
I LOVED Dracula – I didn’t want it to end. There are so many unanswered questions and so many ways it can go – please please can you do a second series. For some bizarre reason you want Dracula to live and see what happens to him. Please make the right decision but also put us out of our misery – thanks
Please renew the show…Its a quality adult show and bring back reinfield too!!!
Loved the show! Please review. I like the new spin…old is new again!

Please do not cancel! Season 2 is a must !!!! We’re hooked with Dracula! Cast, setting and story makes us want to watch more!!!!
Dracula is excellent. The first episode wasn’t a real grabber and I almost didn’t continue, but I gave it another go and was hooked. I hope they don’t cancel.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Season 1 of Dracula. Loved the setting & the actors, always kept me wanted more. Hope to see it comeback for another Season.
Don’t disappoint me please 🙂
This was the best thing on TV on a Friday, Not a fan of Grim,(boring). NBC, listen to your fans,Dracula, (was totally AWESOME). I can’t wait for the second season. Love it,
Please renew Dracula. This show is so amazing! I looked forward to see what would be next every weekend! I love how the storyline is different from the original Dracula story, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Also it’s way much better than the ever ongoing Vampire Diaries and less childish. Please renew this series because it’s the best thing shown on television!!
