The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Dracula TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
I really enjoyed the new twist that NBC put on Dracula. They found an interesting way to re-tell a familiar story. I love Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He is an amazing actor and I would love to see him in more shows. I have been a loyal fan of the new Dracula and hope it is renewed! I promise to keep watching for as long as you keep filming!!
there is a website called.. save that show.com that u can go to an vote once a day for Dracula AND leave a comment which is directly sent to the network. Without this kind of help Dracula probably won’t be renewed, and that’s a shame. It is an excellent program! So please help.
I absolutely love this show! I hope it’s picked up again.
Please don’t cancel this show. I really looked forward to it. NBC should give it a chance to really BITE into all of us…Cancel some other show if you must
The show got better and better as the season progressed. I hope NBC keeps it another season. It’s beautiful to watch and if it maintains the trajectory it built in the first season I have high hopes for the second one.

I was so looking forward to its return following the Olympics only to find out 10 episodes was all we got and it may not be renewed. Bummed! Great show! I want to see Lucy vamp out. I want to see where Renfield is going. And don’t even get me started about Dracula himself! So hot. So intriguing. Give it at least another season! I’d be so disappointed if NBC let this one die.
i love the show i want to see more
i love the show it shouldnt be cancelled i want to see more.
This show was Wicked Pizza!
Bring it back now!!!
I love these shows, they are misterious and cunning. Litle bit af sherlock holmes in there to, pusles and conspirecy. Unlike other vamp shows out there. Plz continu the shows, mabe whats missing is more misterius characters from the past should be added with more Draculas alies. And mabe new arc enemy who has search him throug out the ages a famus slayer perhaps. Any way , thanks for the shows. A+ from me =)
Please dont me and my family love it ….. Give it a chance alot of us didnt even know about it…
STOP IT ALREADY! Why is NBC so trigger happy to cancel shows? Read the comments! Some people are just now starting to watch. I watch on regular tv network if I can but will catch up on Hulu if I miss the regular shows. When are the networks going to start using tweeter, facebook, etc to get real input from those of us who love science fiction/drama shows. Why not give them another year – again because some people are just now finding this show!
Why are they so quick on the trigger? It all boils down to money and sponsors. Doesn’t everything in this country boil down to that? A lot of people watch crap (and there is a lot of that on TV), so they keep it.
My family and I love this show. We stumbled on ep 5 by complete accident, just changing channels one night, we did not know about the show. In the same night and the following day we watched all the previous episodes on internet, and then the whole 5 again. It’s a marvelous series; great production, sets, costumes, music, writing, and terrific acting. In a world of mediocre tv, this is an absolute gem.
I love the show! Cancelling is NOT allowed.
Awwwww Come on…..I couldn’t wait until the Olympics were over so I could continue watching this awesome show….love the historic backgrounds and plot…!! BRING IT BACK! Or someone might tell NBC to go suck…BLOOD THAT IS….
