The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

Dracula it’s so good.
Congratulations to the 3 or 4 people in the USA with Neilsen Ratings boxes that are deciding what 300 million people watch. Come to think of it, has anyone ever met anyone that they know have a Neilsen ratings box? Dracula was a really good show, with good writing and good acting. It is a darn shame that NBC is taking it off the air.
RODNEY83-I was chosen by Nielson’s ratings about 10 yrs ago when another show I was very crazy about was being canceled.Don’t think I made a difference either,it got canceled anyway. On bright side I read Sky Living is strongly considering doing Dracula w/o NBC.If so maybe NBC will also show in U.S.We canhope.BTW,the show I tried to save was edgy syfy, got feeling I wasn’t typical Nielsen folk.Have always wondered if they mixed me up w/someone else w/same name.
More Dracula please!!!!!! So good, edge of seat good!!!!!
This blows that dracula was cancelled ive been waiting to see it come back 🙁
Love, the show Love, the cast please we need season 2 bring it back great show.
KEEP DRACULA! The cast is perfect, every twist is perfect!!!
I don’t see anything wrong with it. There has to be a second season.

THAT goes directly to Nbc. There is also a petition started by a loving fan in Illinois called change.org continue producing nbcdracula. It only needs 212 more “signatures” to send it to Nbc. ALL of these need to be done so we can send a CLEAR message to NBC and Sky Living that we WANT another season of Dracula. Time is running out,… Read more »
