TV show description:
This science-fiction drama revolves around Molly Woods (Halle Berry), an astronaut who returns to Earth after a year-long solo mission in outer space. Her efforts to reconnect with her loving husband John (Goran Visnjic) and young son Ethan (Pierce Gagnon) are soon thrown into turmoil when Molly learns that she is pregnant.
Her experiences in space and home lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.
Episode #26 — The Greater Good
Molly and JD frantically race to the hybrids to stop a Humanich plot that will destroy the human race. Also, Lucy has a shocking realization about the GSC that forces her to question her allegiance and put Ethan at risk.

Will there be a season 2? I keep waiting for it. I really enjoyed watching the first season. A much better series than most of what is available to watch these days.
Extant the TV Series will not return for an second episode, but in the near future perhaps in 2019 0r 2020 there will be a Movie with the same title, but a much better premise and plot, guaranteed to be a Hit for people who like Sci-Fi Movies.

Seems like everytime I get into a show, it gets cancelled. i.e. jerico and V. makes me almost afraid to give Extant a big thumbs up!
I don’t know if anyone at CBS really pays any attention to these comments or gives a damn about the fans, but they would be really stupid if they don’t bring back Extant. It is a very compelling, interesting, and just down right good show. There is some much mindless garbage on TV these days(I’m talking about all the reality shows), thank you for bringing the viewing public a really well done show. I look forward to seeing Extant in 2015.

AMEN! Bring some interesting shows back and get rid of this reality crap. which is NOT reality in any event. I never had a camera crew along when I went camping or river running or lived in South America on a finca. (lOOK IT UP).
This has been a very entertaining show. Good sci-fi with a great story line is hard to find on t.v. these days. This has been a very welcome addition to my regular viewing. Looking forward to season two. (And it doesn’t hurt that Halle is great eye candy as well a being a very fine actress.)
A show that is well written with plots that are highly intelligent: those are death marks for a TV show. It seems people prefer mindless idiotic so-called reality shows over television that is truly entertaining and thought provoking. I’m afraid that, for these reasons, Extant may not have a very long future. I just hope I’m wrong. I would love to see it last, at least long enough to tell a good, fleshed out story.
Great show. Looking forward to next season. Beats all the silly sitcoms and ridiculous reality TV.

I love this show. Please don’t cancel it. I want more. I love that it’s a different concept and the futuristic technology is cool. Great Cast. Loved Srason 1 of Extant. I will be bummed if there is not a Seasin 2.
