TV show description:
This science-fiction drama revolves around Molly Woods (Halle Berry), an astronaut who returns to Earth after a year-long solo mission in outer space. Her efforts to reconnect with her loving husband John (Goran Visnjic) and young son Ethan (Pierce Gagnon) are soon thrown into turmoil when Molly learns that she is pregnant.
Her experiences in space and home lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.
Episode #26 — The Greater Good
Molly and JD frantically race to the hybrids to stop a Humanich plot that will destroy the human race. Also, Lucy has a shocking realization about the GSC that forces her to question her allegiance and put Ethan at risk.

I do love this show, with much the same attachment that I had for Star Trek, through all of it’s permutations. With this show you get Sci-fi, romance, an intellectual exercise in possibility “strange new world” scenarios, a political lesson, a commentary on species(race) relations, a very new spin on T.V. and all wrapped up with some of the best actors around. Bring back the General!, as a foil for the love of Molly and as an informed nemesis for Taalr (sp). Just enjoyed watching Season 2 Finale …very well done. Will really miss this series if it is cancelled.
Lots of possible directions to take story line from here..Have always loved the actor now playing romantic lead ( may not recall his name at this moment – but can’t ever forget his expressive eyes ages ago on ” Grey’s Anatomy ” !
It’s a shame more people didn’t watch this but it could probably have a life on the Sci-Fi channel. It’s a really well written story with lots of plot twists. The whole terminator thing being redone was pretty good too even though not original. Watching Hali is a lot better than Arnold.
Second season was much better than first. Need a third -really enjoyed it.

I love Extant and look forward to watching it every Wednesday. I am hoping it returns for some time. Great actors and shoes. Love it, it is one of the best shows on TV.

well acted…good direction…good specials…good camera work…smart concepts..every once and a while ithe writing can be rough and a bit choppy…but am a regular watcher and hope to continue into a new season of this show’s journey.
