Things have gotten even better for some of the voice actors on Family Guy. THR reports that Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Mike Henry have collectively negotiated a big raise from studio 20th Century Fox Television.
Under the new deal, the voice actors will each be paid between $175,000 and $225,000 per episode for at least two more seasons — and for as many as five seasons of the animated series.
The first season of the new contract will be season 12. That’s currently in production and is expected to start airing next fall on FOX. While Family Guy hasn’t been officially renewed beyond that, there’s no sign that Fox intends to stop making the very lucrative series.
Series creator Seth MacFarlane, who voices several Family Guy characters, is covered under a separate and more complicated deal.
What do you think? Do you still like Family Guy? How long do you think it should continue?
what I don’t get is, there was a new hour long show in the 9pm slot on fox this past sunday, march 1st, 2015….. what gives??!!
what about Vinny? is he ever going to be back?
will Cleveland be coming back to Family Guy?
/
Yes.
Be interesting to see how they do up the story for his return… A 2nd divorce? His son wasn’t introduced until the spin-off was he?
As I recall, he will move back with his new family. Lois and his wife don’t get along.
That makes more sense.. I don’t know why I assumed they would just get rid of the rest..
His son was introduced pre-cleveland show. However he was more like Rollo’s age. Suddenly when the spinoff started he was 14 or 15 and almost 300 pounds.
Ah cool. Thanks!
