Fargo has cast its female lead for season three, according to Deadline. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will join Ewan McGregor on the FX series for its upcoming season. The actress was last season on BrainDead, which just wrapped its first season on CBS.

Deadline shared the following about Winstead’s role on Fargo:

“Winstead will play Nikki Swango, a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing. Nikki is a woman with a plan, focused on always being at least one move ahead of her opponents.”
