FBI is losing a key cast member. Deadline reports Sela Ward will not be returning for the CBS TV show’s second season.
Ward plays FBI special agent-in-charge Dana Mosier on the crime procedural, which also stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Ebonée Noel, and Jeremy Sisto.
On social media, Ward announced her exit from FBI and thanks the cast, crew, and fans of the CBS series. Read her post below:

The FBI has many actors that do not connect. They are boring and dull.
Am so sorry that Sela is leaving….that part was made for her and she did it well!! No sense in asking why…it’s just too bad!! Congrats in her future endeavors! That cast is awesome as a whole…but each one bounces off the other and it’s a great show of realism! I truly enjoy it!!

She only signed on for one season. That’s the main reason why. I hope the series continues to do great. Loved Season 1.

Hello. Yes my husband and I have something good we look forward to watching on Tuesdays. However Sela Ward has always been one of my favorite actresses who since she played on the drama series “Sisters” years ago. We do enjoy all of Dick Wolf’s productions. He’s an extremely multi-talented giant in the industry. We’ll miss her and whoever takes her place has some “Big Shoes” to fill. However we trust whoever signs on will be the best person for the job. No, I don’t watch this show. My TV watching time is limited to 2 hours per night. As CBS cancels shows that I enjoy, I refuse to watch new shows due to my time constraints.

How I love this show!! Lots of law enforcement & FBI in my family. Maggie is one great ac tress with that somewhat terse expression. Love OA & Jeremy Sisto & Ebonne Noel.
This is the best new show in a long time. Excellent story lines, great cast, lots of action, believable characters. So glad it was renewed.
