FBI is losing a key cast member. Deadline reports Sela Ward will not be returning for the CBS TV show’s second season.
Ward plays FBI special agent-in-charge Dana Mosier on the crime procedural, which also stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Ebonée Noel, and Jeremy Sisto.
On social media, Ward announced her exit from FBI and thanks the cast, crew, and fans of the CBS series. Read her post below:

I love FBI and will continue to watch season 2. I love sela ward as an actress and watch her whenever I see her in something but I don’t think she played her character well in this series.

YES. Like it so far. Actress leaving not key to my watching. Replacement could be; if an A-Hole. I like everyone even though they stretch actual realty to the limits. FBI is very rigid with rules. This show IS NOT. Wishing Sela Ward the best & rooting for a great season 2.
I totally agree, I wish she would stay on the show. I hate to see her go, she’s a great actress. I have watched many of the shows she’s been in Andy hated to see her leave those too! You will be sorely missed!!

I’m saddened to hear that Sela Ward is leaving the show. She is wonderful actress and great in her role on FBI. Seems like a lot of shows do this; start with a fantastic cast and slowly “remove” characters and/or replace them. Too bad!
