It looks like Netflix is leaving the wilderness. Frontier star Jessica Matten recently revealed the TV show has been cancelled after three seasons.
The historical drama, which airs on Netflix in the U.S., centers on the rough and often violent North American fur trade of the late 18th century. The cast includes Jason Momoa, Alun Armstrong, Zoe Boyle, and Landon Liboiron.
During a recent episode of the podcast Canadians Talking Sh*t, Matten revealed Frontier will not return for a fourth season despite earlier reports. Netflix has not yet confirmed the show’s cancellation.

Nooooooooo! They can’t cancel! Such a good show! Loved the suspense, grit and stolen romance. Please Netflix at least ONE MORE SEASON!

I agree 100%! Longmire was incredible! Frontier is/was so incredible. Well written, authentic, wonderful scenery, strong characters, and great storylines. My family has enjoyed both series. Longmire’s conclusion was well done and provided closure. We don’t have closure with Frontier. Besides Grace and Declan, what about Michael and Sokanon, the Brown Brothers, Clenna, and others. There was so much left to be told. Very disappointed to find out it’s run is over.
No body watches a show with flipping sub titles! Cancel the good shows and leave the crappy sub title shows. Good way to lose customers.

Why does Netflix keep getting it wrong?
I’m with everyone else. Netflixs prices go up and they cancel show you want to watch. Maybe Netflix isn’t worth the price. disappointed to say the least

I can’t beleive it! Why is it that Netflix keeps some shows that struggle out the Gate. And cancel shows that have huge, strong fan bases.
That’s why I cancelled my subscription. Netflix upload are always always late, old, and they don’t have a lot of good stuff enough!!

I loved frontier. Netflix always cancels shows after a couple of seasons. I have given up on watching new shows.
