The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

I just watched the finale of Game of Silence. You can’t leave me hanging like that. It was a very good show, actors were excellent and the story lie kept you interested with to the end. Renew, Renew!
Please don’t cancel this brilliant – edge of your seat dramatic show. The season finale was totally off the rails “Amazing”. I hope another network picks it up and the show and cast wins an Emmy
Game of Silence should at the very least be picked up by another station. My opinion as to why it may not have been highly rated was that it had not been advertised. When I asked people if they watched it, not many heard about it. How could it be left with so many questions? This show was awesome, PLEASE RENEW THE CONTRACT! This has happened to so many great shows. It’s not right leaving things hangjng in the balance!!!!!
At least let the viewers see the end!!! This is why nbc sux!!!

do reruns of season one over the summer and do season 2 in the fall and I believe there will be higher ratings. This is a really good show.

You have to be kidding me!!! I have been hooked on this show since day 1 AND got all my friends to watch it and they got hooked too. This made me keep flipping channels between commercials during the NBA game 2 championship game. This cannot happen people! The cast is fantastic! Every character played holds their weight. Please bring back Game of Silence, Heartbeat and The Mysteries of Laura.These are all great shows. We won’t know how the end without a proper ending. At least do that if they can’t be renewed. Please! It would be so great to have these back.Thank you.
