The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

This was a great show. I hope you will reconsider your decision. I rarely watch NBC and made sure not to miss this one

If a show appeals to an audience with more than a 20 IQ, you can count on NBC giving it the ax.
I am so tired of your new programing . We used to have 22 or 23 episodes on shows. Now we are lucky if we get 12. What is up with your stupid programming. You had a great show in GAME OF SILENCE. Did you ever stop to think your ratings are low because of the stupid things you are doing with the amount of episodes your producing, How you change winter shows to summer shows, how long we have to wait for fav shows to come back on. Game of silence was a great show and should not be canceled. It is a poor decision to cancel the show.
If NBC goes through with cancelling this show, then I am through with NBC. They never give shows an honest chance, then they cancel the good ones and keep the crap shows. Game is Silence is a great show and should be given another chance.

I am very disappointed NBC is planning on canceling “GAME OF SILENCE”!! Do not be so quick to cancel this show! I loved it and was looking forward to the next season. Give it a chance! I want to know who killed Marina!
It was wrong to cancel. Game of Silence was a good show. Possibly the time slot was wrong. Very disappointed in the ending! My grand daughter could have written a better ending! Really turns me off of NBC! The Jennifer Lopez series was the same! Terrible ending! Come on NBC!
I love this show. I don’t watch a lot of shows on network television, but this is one that I do watch. Why cancel this show? Give it another chance. At least air enough episodes to let the viewers know what happens with Jacksons wife and the warden!
I have a simple suggestion. Re-air the whole season on a great time slot and watch it take off like fire. Please do not cancel
