The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

This show should be brought back. You don’t end a show like that with season 2. Now is the time to get who killed Marina. That is crazy to leave people hanging like that. Netflix cbs abc amc someone needs to pic this show up

Please don’t cancel Game of Silence! It’s one of the few shows I really got into. I love the back story and there is so much potential with this show.
This show caught my attention within seconds of watching it. Super exciting and has a very clever plot. Why NBC would think the ratings were bad is beyond me. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring it back. Very disappointed to see that it was cancelled.

One of the best shows on TV! Looked forward to watching it every week. The story line was so clever and exciting. NBC had a great series going. Hope they give it a second chance. A lot of disappointed viewers!!!

Please bring back season 2 to Netflix or somewhere where those of us fans can finish what happened. I really hate it when we get season one of a show & it gets dropped or you drop a show after 3 or 4 episodes then just drop it & you don’t get to finish it. I don’t care put other shows or seasons on DVD so those of us who want to finish a series can I mean come on I hate when TV Stations do that….
