The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

This is an awesome show!! It kept me interested the whole time every show!! One of the very few late shows I dvr’d so I wouldn’t miss it!! Please keep this show going!!

Now granted that my work shift have me in the bed early….so I catch up on the wknd thru Demand!! This show is on the top of my list to watch!!! A very good show!! Jacked up on how u goin to end it with Jackson’s Fiance being killed with no conclusion!! But Thanx NBC for canceling a great show!!! Some of u executives see is ratings/numbers but dont see the big picture and give things a chance!!! So ppl do work and dont sit in front of a tv all the time!! This show is Awesome. It may have got off to a slow start, but ended with s Big Bang. Very dissapointed NBC couldn’t give this show a little more time.
This is a very ‘sitting on the edge of your seat’ drama. Why cancel a great show with lots of mystery and a real thriller. I don’t write reviews, but Game of Silence is worth another season. Come on, NBC, RENEW!!

Game of silence is a great show ……. Why are you cancelling? Some episodes I’ve watched when aired and others I taped so I would not miss an episode. Now we are left with a cliff hanger……surely all viewers want to know more how the story will evolve. NBC needs to reconsider. They have a hit and don’t realize it!!
I can’t believe that NBC canceled the show Game of Silence I look forward for Thursdays. I told my coworker about the show she went back and watch the first show and she was hook on it too I believe that NBC did not advertise enough

I watched every episode I loved the show actors were great the ending was great i was so excited on last episode that i went on the Internet to see when season two was gonna start that’s when I seen it was cancelled it needs to be renewed or another network can pick it up
Not everyone enjoys the multitude of reality shows or is under the age of 30! This was a good show! Should be renewed!
I can’tell believe NBC is cancelling Game of Silence it’s a great show with a lot of mystery I think if NBC would advertise the show more there would be many more viewers. I think this show deserves another chance you just can’t leave the fans hanging. Please renew for the show for season 2.
