It looks like FOX may have a couple hits on their hands. Today, the network reported the series trailers for The Gifted and The Orville have reached 36 and 22 million views, respectively.
A Marvel drama, The Gifted “tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers.” The cast includes Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, and Blair Redford.
From Seth MacFarlane, The Orville “is a one-hour science fiction comedic drama set 400 years in the future that follows the adventures of the U.S.S. Orville, a mid-level exploratory vessel.” The cast includes MacFarlane, Halston Sage, Patrick Cox, Scott Grimes, Adrianne Palicki, Chad L. Coleman, and Larry Joe Campbell.
FOX has not yet announced premiere dates for The Orville or The Gifted, but you can check out the trailers below:

What do you think? Have you seen the series trailers? Which new FOX shows will you watch next season?
Orvil looks great but another (‘()’)(‘)(‘)((‘super hero crap series! GIVE ME A ‘&%&’&’%%&’ BREAK!
The Orville looks good, but, Halston Sage is too hot to have all that alien make to hide behind.
Someone needs to make an action/adventure show, starring Amy Acker, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell and Sean Teale ASAP. It’s sad to see that they’re wasting their talents on the gifted. Especially, Amy Acker. She deserves to play bigger and important roles.
The Gifted is part of the X-Men franchise and the pilot is directed by Bryan Singer, the guy who directed X-Men, X2, X:Days of Future Past, Usual Suspects. Acker is the co-lead, but the trailer focuses on the action elements as most trailers do. It’s a bit early to refer to her participation as a waste.
Yeah I, too, think that Acker’s character isn’t just a sympathetic mom. Even in the trailer if pay some attention to the way Acker portrays her, one can notice that there’s something else about Kate.
It’s like her first appearance on Person of Interest – once you aware that the psychologist is Root, during the rewatch you start to notice that the signs of it were there all along.
I can’t wait to see the bigger picture.
I think THE ORVILLE will be the best show of the upcoming fall season. Lots of buzz around this great idea.
