OWN renewed its Greenleaf TV show for a second season, prior to the series’ June 2016 premiere. The cable network’s faith in the church family mystery proved justified. Although relatively low-rated compared to broadcast fare, Greenleaf season one was one of OWN’s top scripted series, in terms of both its demo numbers and total audience size.
