It looks like Nick’s fights on Friday nights are far from over. NBC has renewed Grimm for a fifth season for 2015-16.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. Others in the cast include Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
Grimm is down by 7-10% in the ratings so far this season; averaging a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.99 million viewers. This season will see the fantasy crime drama reach the 88 episode mark, enough episodes for syndication. Next year it will likely reach 100 installments — quite an impressive feat for a genre series that airs on Friday nights on a major network.
What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Are you glad that it’s been renewed? How long should it continue?

THS IS THE BEST EVER SHOW ON TV. THE ONE I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE ON FRIDAY NIGHTS. I DO HAVE ONE COMPLAINT, IT DOESN’T LAST LONG ENOUGH, NEEDS TO BE 2HR SHOW EACH FRIDAY NIGHT. THATS HOW GOOD THIS SHOW IS. LOVE IT
This show is what keeps me interested in television. I love it and so does my husband. We are senior citizens and are so bored with the rewrites of old shows, dramas, etc. A breath of fresh air that is constantly enticing!!!
Love it! Great twist and want more!
I watch this with my teenage kids and we all love it! Please don’t cancel it! This is so fun to share with my kids. Please keep up the amazing work!
Please don’t cancel Grimm!!!! It gets better every season and now with this revolution things are getting even more interesting. I couldn’t stand juliette but love adelind, nick, Reynard, Hank, and all the other characters. I’ll be honest, I don’t care much for tv except I insist on recording or watching Grimm every season. I only wish there were more episodes or a shorter time frame between seasons. Love it!!!
why is their only 13 episodes in season 5 when their was 22 in season 4 grimm.???? is this a sign or could it be that its the last of grimm.
Yay another season of Grimm to look forward too can’t wait.
favorite show ever !
LOVE Grimm!!! ………just keeps getting better each season………has serious has drama has laughs has a cute leading man……what more is needed??
I love this show and hope NBC doesn’t cancel it., I really missed Juliette and was hoping she would be alive and go back with Nick again since I really enjoy Nick’s relationship with Juliette. I also like Truble and her action is really cool.
Chill out! Reality is, it’s a television show! It’s entertainment! As for having babies, it’s a beautiful thing no matter the bld, pain,, etc. now repeat,,, “it’s only a tv show for my entertainment to enjoy'”. There now don’t you feel better!
if they focus the show on nick and what a grimm can do this show could go 7 seasons., if adalin can turn to do good that would be great. i think the baby grimm & and the baby hexinbeast plus trubel are more important. it looks like nick and adalin are going to be good friends. down with the king. was a good hint.
I love this show and hope NBC doesn’t cancel it like they do everything else, I really liked Juliette and was hoping she would go back to normal or at least embrace her new Identity but she went dark and there was no coming back so I’m glad Truble killed her. I actually like Adeline this season and am rooting for her and Nick now..
Responding to the comment…”missing Julliett”…I believe you are in the minority. Julliett was an unlikeable character and not suited as the eventual mate for Nick Burkhardt. Furthermore, Adalind may be the mother of Nick’s son, Kelly, but is not a given that parents will setup housekeeping and share a bedroom suite. Last night’s episode:
Adalind converses with Rosalee…hexenbeast spirit is temporarily suppressed Adalind. With Misner’s return and his close “fatherly” relationship with Adalind’s first born, Diana, the story will evolve into an exciting and captivating Grimm fairytale. Stay tuned….
Well, as I said in my earlier comment, I’m still watching and haven’t totally given up on the series. I may be in the minority as far as Juliette is concerned, but watching the reruns of the first three seasons on TNT (Tues-Fri., 3AM MST) I really enjoy Nick’s relationship with Juliette, although I was very disappointed in her decision to turn down his proposal AND her ridiculous reaction to his revelations about being a Grimm, both of which did cause me to question her suitability for Nick in the long run. So, we’ll see what happens. I will continue… Read more »
grimm would put cw over the top. syfy cant be trusted,
