Jim Sturgess is headed to Hulu. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Feed the Beast star has joined the streaming service’s upcoming series Hard Sun.
The BBC One-produced drama follows Robert Hicks and Elaine Renko, two detectives who “seek to enforce the law and protect their loved ones in a world that every day slips closer to certain destruction.” Sturgess will play Hicks opposite Agyness Deyn as Renko.
Luther creator Neil Cross is writing the script and will executive produce Hard Sun alongside Brian Kirk, Hugh Warren, Kate Harwood, and Elizabeth Kilgarriff. Filming is slated to begin in London this month.
