TV show description:
This cop procedural is a re-imagining of the original longtime series that aired between 1968 and 1980 on CBS. The series focuses on a federalized task force designed to fight crime in Hawaii, and again includes the characters of Steve McGarrett, Danny “Danno” Williams, and Chin Ho Kelly.
Detective Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) is a decorated Naval officer-turned-cop. He returns to Oahu to investigate his father’s murder. While there, Hawaii’s Governor (Jean Smart) persuades him to head up the new team — with his rules, her backing, no red tape, and full authority to hunt down the biggest “game” in town.
It’s McGarrett’s aim to bring closure to his dad’s case, and to also repair his relationship with his estranged sister, Mary Ann (Taryn Manning). He’s also honoring his dad by restoring the old 1974 Mercury Marquis.
He’s joined on the new team by Detective Danny “Danno” Williams (Scott Caan), who has just relocated from New Jersey. He likes skyscrapers over the coastline but wants to keep the area safe for his eight-year-old daughter.
Detective Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim) is also part of the new team. He had been stuck on federal security patrol after being wrongly accused of corruption while part of the Honolulu Police Department.
The rookie in their group is Chin’s cousin, Detective Kona “Kono” Kalakaua (Grace Park). She’s eager to prove herself among the others.
The state’s brash new Five-0 unit, who may spar and joke among themselves, but they’re determined to eliminate the seedy elements from the 50th state.
Episode #240 — Aloha
Danny is abducted and badly wounded by Wo Fat’s wife, who is after the cypher Steve’s mother left him. Also, Steve finally solves the case his father left for him 10 years ago. Recurring cast members James Marsters (Victor Hesse), William Sadler (John McGarrett) and Mark Dacascos (Wo Fat) return.
First aired: April 3, 2020.
What do you think? Do you like the Hawaii Five-0 TV show? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for an 11th season?

We love this show! I hate to see it being cancelled. We’ve always been Hawaii 5-0 fans, love police shows!! However,we will not be watching Tommy. It has an agenda that I will not support.
One of the best shows on tv,we’ve watched every episode. I know of several other people who have done the same.
Awsome show. I’ve watched every week. Never missed an episode. Hate that’s it being cancelled. They should have a season 11.
I really enjoy it. Would be a shame to see it canceled.
Love the show! Hope they don’t cancel!
I adore H50 very much….I looked forward to seeing them every Friday night….
I can relate to Alex back problem, cause I broke my lower back twice & treatment can be Hell Alex we the fans are behind you 100% about taking much needed time off

LOVE HAWAII FIVE-0 !! Please don’t end the series! I have been following Alex since his first TV series. Need him on TV!
I love life I vote so much is like my favorite favorite television programs besides supernatural.you got to bring them back for an 11th season these guys are great especially with Katrina law just starting you need to bring them back they’re all phenomenal actors and if they do cancel it I would love to see Junior getting married to Tani Rey. But please don’t take off the show got to have them renew their contracts they’ve got to us fans are all depending on them to come back
Hawaii Five-O is my all time favorite show. I cannot believe it is being cancelled. They need to re-consider & bring it back!!
Reconsider please !!! This is the biggest mistake cbs could make by ending this show ;(
Hawaii 5-o is one of my favorite shows. I am sick it’s being cancelled…maybe it can be picked up by another channel or the present channel will reconsider cancelling it.
Hope they reconsider Hawaii Five-O. Great show. Actors have stunt doubles but insist on doing their own stunts so when they get hurt not only do they suffer, their fans suffer too. The producers chose not to continue with Scott Caan. Would they consider asking Daniel Dae Kim back. He would definitely be an asset to the show and I’m sure rating would be good.
Hawaii Five-O Is One Of The Best Shows On TV. Why is it Being Canceled?
They cancel all the wrong shows
why are you canceling this show? this is a great friday nite run. I always look forward to friday nites. with 5-0 and tom selleck. Why do you cancel good shows and then play stupid comedies and reality shows .. thats a crock. and just because they call HBO and showtime TV.. I dont i always watch the Broadcast shows. get some new people. keep the good shows and get rid of the crap. man oh man.. no wonder everyone is going to streaming.
I hate that Hawaii Five-O is being cancelled. But this is due to health Alex O’Loughlin. He suffered a back injury a few years back. I guess it’s getting really difficult to do the show. To give it closure they should bring back the characters that left. At least there are 10 years of reruns.
