What do you think? Do you watch Home & Family? Are you sad to see Cristina leave?
Will miss watching Home and Family.
I really miss Christina. I could identify with her point of view. She brought about a since of grace, maturity, and compassion. It feels as if the show wants a much younger demographic. I really liked the variety that the show offered and now it is more one dimensional. I still record the show. It takes me about 20 minutes to watch a 2 hour episode. While Debbie is adorable I really miss Christina!
I have tried to convince myself the show is as good as it used to be but it just isn’t. Cristina added class to the show. Cristina was always gracious and welcoming to all guests. I feel the “powers that be” have made a dreadful mistake in replacing Cristina as co-host. I was a faithful viewer before she left the show, but the new format and co-host are a disappointment to me. Debbie was good as a family member, but as a co-host she leaves a lot to be desired. She talks over guests and other cast members. She is… Read more »
I will not watch the show nor are my friends. That new co host is not good.I agree with Nancy Pirtle
I have watched Home & Family for many years, I’m very disappointed that Christina has been replaced! Not sure I will watch it anymore. Christina is a beautiful woman, and so very down to earth! I think the show will not be the same!
Show not the same without Christna
Well this is one show I will not be watching anymore…I watched this daily, liked Christina very much.
I never cared for her replacement even when she was on the show, she is to much of a show off! A
Ways was…
I think its a disgrace that Cristina was fired. She was the best host that show could have. They made a terrible mistake. I thought that they were all such a “family” there. What happened? Seems like she was fired for her open religious beliefs (what a shame if that’s the reason!) …..or maybe network execs are trying to appeal to a younger audience?… Again, Hallmark has made a BIG mistake! They should be on their hands and knees begging her to come back to the show and telling her that the truth is that she made that WHOLE show!
I will no longer watch home and family since the departure of Christine. She was what H & F was all about. There is / was nothing pretentious about Christine. Your two co-hosts today will never measure up to the “wholesome” attitude and demeanor which Christine exhibited.
M.S.Post
I’ll join those who no longer watch Home and Family. Christina was both the “Home and the family” part of the show. I feel like I’ve lost another friend, Paula Deen was the first to be treated so heartlessly by a network. The reason for the success was due mostly to her personality and warmth. I no longer watch the Food network either!
I don’t watch home and family but Christina was my favorite lacy , was very disappointed not to see he. I know you won’t miss me but I will no longer watch.
Christina made the show what it is! Without her it is not worth watching.
I will not be watching the show because Christina was the show. I will only watch
when Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing are guests.
So sorry to hear that Christina has been replaced. Will not be watching any more as she was charming and has taste. Show will not be on same level. And I mean no disrespect to Debbie.
I agree with almost all the comments made above. Cristina DID make the show. Even at times when Mark was away or on vacation; she made the show interesting and enjoyable. I too, will no longer watch the show. I disagree that Debbie M. was her replacement. She does not have the flare Christina did; almost has a flaunty ” I can do it attitude. And she sits too close to Mark on the set!
I am really upset that Christine is not on anymore and I too have stopped watching the show. Here’s the thing about Debbie. Many of us have had kids. we love them, we adore them, they are ours But I truely believe that Debbie is convinced that she has given birth to the Christ Child. Enough is Enough We don’t need to hear about her kid and watch her get crying eyes every time she mentions her. Get rid of the Blond Bimbo
Here is the difference between Cristina and Debbie: Cristina is genuine, Debbie is fake. Do the suits think their audience are so blind and stupid that we can’t figure this out. I haven’t watched since Mark Steines announced in June that Debbie is the new co-host. Debbie is fake just like Hollywood. I am boycotting anything related to the Hallmark Company. Woody Fraser you are a moron and you killed the only relatable show on TV!!
This is the truth. pure and simple.
I totally agree with Inge!
The show is just not the same. Don’t enjoy it near as much. I didn’t realize one person could make such a difference but it does. You have made a big mistake. I never usually make comments on things like this but felt I needed to. We so enjoyed this program because of the warmth & genuine personality of Cristina. What a loss.
