Home & Family is headed back into production. After its most recent production shutdown in December, the series will start filming new episodes on Monday, March 29th. Those new episodes will land on Hallmark Channel on April 5th. Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison host the series which feature interviews, cooking and household tips, and more for its viewers.
Viewers will notice some big changes when the series returns for the remaining episodes of season nine. Instead of airing five days a week, the Hallmark Channel series will air just three days a week, per Deadline. New episodes will air Monday through Wednesday for one hour only. The series previously aired five days a week, for two hours each.
A spokesperson for Crown Media Entertainment said that “this change tightens the show, allowing us to created more in-depth segments and interviews.”

Hope they still have the Hallmark stars visiting the show, like Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott. I love them together! When I was diagnosed with Cancer, I’d watched their movies and they gave my heart a big lift. Now, I’m hooked on all of your movies, especially the Christmas movies! Also, I love the cooking segments….Thank you so much!
Glad it’s coming back but the new format is really crummy not good for your viewers look forward to this respite from all the terrible things going on everywhere it’s a shame you had to make it a lesser version of itself
Glad it will be 1 hour. Less time for Debbie to talk about herself, camera husband, and daughter! Could use guest cooks, craft ideas are wonderful and hallmark movie actors. After all the hallmark movies are the foundation of this network show. Good business decision!
I have missed Cameron and Debbie. My favorite segments are cooking and guests and crafts. They can lose the pet adoption element for me.
Yes, PLEASE don’t have that pet adoption stuff! I love pets but I think that was WAY over done -Debbie and Cameron need to please CALM DOWN and act natural and not so dramatic and not talk so much – and please when doing crafts or cooking let the GUEST talk and show us – not interrupted by Debbie and Cameron- I’ll try the show again – glad Hallmark realized they had to do something – “many moons” ago it was a good program!
I liked the five day two hour show but will watch the new format. I hope they will still have the cooking and crafts sections. I love to see all the pets up for adobption
I’m thrilled it will be back. Unhappy about cutting back to One hour. So much will be cut. I want my home and family back. Three days a week??? Why? So disappointed. I will watch then decide if I will continue watching. Michelle
Not loving the new format… the show’s previous 2 hour format allowed for some great segments… not sure about this change Hallmark…

I really enjoyed the show and nit sure about the new format ? I enjoyed the interaction between all the staff and I hope they are all still employed ‘n

Yay! I gave up watching Home and Family because I did not like devoting two hours a day to the show.
