What’s next for Homeland? Recently, Showtime bosses David Nevins and Gary Levine discussed the future of the TV series, Deadline reports.
The political drama debuts its seventh season on February 11th at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The new season will see Carrie (Claire Danes) return to Washington DC as she takes on the Keane administration for arresting 200 members of the intelligence community. The cast also includes Amy Hargreaves, Elizabeth Marvel, Mandy Patinkin, Linus Roache, Maury Sterling, and newcomer Morgan Spector.
At this year’s TCA winter press tour, Nevins teased Homeland‘s upcoming season:
The president in Homeland is an interesting amalgamation. She is interesting combination of Bernie Sanders-like leftie isolationist. There are certain similarities but the White House on the show is more left than the current administration.. The hard core right wing is represented by the (Brett O’Keefe) character.”
But will season seven be the end for the Showtime series? Levine says the network will end Homeland when it’s the right time:
We have a long time until we get there, we’ll see how he feels, how the actors feel, how we feel.”
What do you think? Do you watch Homeland? How many more seasons do you think the series should last?

I can watch another 10 seasons. Best show on TV
It should be cancelled. They screwed up the show with leftist delusional leftist ideology.
I love Homeland watched it since the first episode. Can’t wait for New season to start. Last season was so good except for the death of Quinn. I’ll miss him.
Watch and all have all season now. a few more would be great, but guess it would be up tp the star.
