TV show description:
From creators Adam Small and Trevor Moore, the Just Roll With It TV show is something of a choose-your-own-adventure story for the audience. Although it is a scripted family sitcom, it mixes in some improvisational comedy, which allows the studio audience to choose in which direction key scenes will advance.

The series centers on preteens Blair (Hayman) and Owen (Reed), newly minted step-siblings in Bennett-Blatt family. Blair’s mom, Rachel (Barrett), recently married Owen’s dad, Byron (Windham). Now, with their lighthearted parents, Owen and Blair are trying to get the hang of everyday family life in a brand-new blended family.

The free-spirited Blair’s personality stands in stark contrast to that of her warm, but structured mother, Rachel, a veteran who now works as the station manager at BEATZ 101. A star student, Owen depends on schedules and rules to help him navigate his busy life. Meanwhile father Byron, a radio personality at BEATZ 101, is the charming, creative type.

Together, the Bennett-Blatts are trying to ride out the highs and lows of adolescence and just handle whatever life throws at them. The actors who play them have to do the same, when the studio audience chooses their next steps. In short, everyone is learning to just roll with it.
