What’s in store for Law & Order: SVU? Recently, NBC released new details for the TV series’ upcoming season 18 finale.
From executive producer Dick Wolf, the long-running legal drama follows an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes in New York City. The cast includes Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, Peter Scanavino, and Raul Esparza
It’s very likely that season 18 won’t be the end for Law & Order: SVU. Nearly two decades in and the show is still doing okay in the ratings. Currently, season 18 is averaging a 1.37 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.854 million viewers, making it one of NBC‘s highest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
The two-episode season 18 finale of Law & Order: SVU premieres on May 24th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
