TV show description:
A science-fiction drama, the Legion TV show is based on the Marvel comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz. It’s the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a troubled young man who may be more than human.
As a child, David was diagnosed as schizophrenic and he has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. Now in his early 30s, he’s institutionalized once again.
David loses himself in the rhythm of the structured regimen of life in the hospital and spends the rest of his time in companionable silence, alongside his chatterbox friend Lenny “Cornflakes” Busker (Aubrey Plaza). Lenny’s a fellow patient whose life-long drug and alcohol addiction has done nothing to quell her boundless optimism that her luck is about to change.
The pleasant numbness of David’s routine is completely upended with the arrival of a beautiful and troubled new patient, Sydney “Syd” Barrett (Rachel Keller). Inexplicably drawn to one another, David and Syd share a startling encounter. He must confront the shocking possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees are the result of him being a mutant.
Haunted, David escapes from the hospital and seeks shelter with his sister Amy (Katie Aselton). But Amy’s concern for her brother is trumped by her desire to protect the picture-perfect suburban life she’s built for herself.
Eventually, Syd guides David to meet Melanie Bird (Jean Smart), a nurturing but demanding therapist with a sharp mind and unconventional methods. She and her team of specialists – Ptonomy Wallace (Jeremie Harris), Kerry Loudermilk (Amber Midthunder) and Cary Loudermilk (Bill Irwin) – open David’s eyes to an extraordinary new world of possibilities.

What do you think? Do you like the Legion TV show? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a fourth season?
It is also my favorite show because I can’t guess what the next thing will be and it makes me use my brain!
my favorite show
Amazing show! Original storyline and excellent cast! Please don’t cancel!!
Legion is one of the best shows that I have watched in many years. I love that it is unlike anything else out there and the story is truly captivating. The imagery is wonderful and the cast and writers are excellent storytellers. I hope FX keeps the show running and understands what a unique creation they have for us to enjoy.
Wow, what a great show for the first season, the 2nd? I have no idea what’s going on, there is seriously no lot, no storyline, the episodes are horribly boring, and after last night’s episode, I am done.
Such an incredible detour from your typical super hero show. This show isn’t just action, it’s also creative and thought provoking.
Very good. love this type of show!
Legion was our favorite series . We think it’s better than flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and arrow. And, it is amazing. Please don’t cancel it.
Great show!!, can’t wait for more.
It’s a really good show, can’t wait for more!
Love, LOVE, LOVE this series!!! Don’t cancel it, please!
With seeing all the X-Men prequel movies I was hesitant and didn’t even start watching this show until the whole first season was available to watch On Demand. I’m so glad I did, I really like this series. It’s much more than a pre prequel to the X-Men universe. A very different take on the mutant superhero type series quite interesting, which I’m sure most people will agree had to do with the writing and characters but overall it was the directing / filming and overall look and feel of the series. I hope they keep the psychologically dark part… Read more »
Love this show. Imaginative writing (got 70+ woman finally interested in Science-Fi), terrific cast, and quirkily vivid action without turning savage
Love this show, imaginative writing (got a 76 year-old woman finally to care about Sci-Fi), excellent cast, and quirkily brain-stretching without turning too savage. Awaiting its return.
