TV show description:
This action drama series reimagines the movie franchise and follows a cop duo as they work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles.
Grief-stricken after the loss of his young wife and unborn child, ex-Navy SEAL-turned-detective Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) moves to California to “start over” at the LAPD.
He’s paired up with Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans). He’s just coming back to the job after a near-fatal heart attack. Riggs’ penchant for diving headfirst into the line of fire immediately clashes with Murtaugh’s prudent, by-the-book technique.
When Captain Brooks Avery (Kevin Rahm) assigns them to their first case together, Riggs drags Murtaugh into a high-speed chase culminating inside the Long Beach Grand Prix and a seaport shootout with drug dealers. Despite his protests, the older cop feels more alive than he has in years.
Meanwhile, Riggs gets a glimpse of why Murtaugh is so determined to get home safely at the end of each day — he’s got a wife, Trish (Keesha Sharp), teenagers Roger Junior (Dante Brown) and Riana (Chandler Kinney), and a newborn baby.
Riggs’ life-on-the-edge attitude makes him a priority case for the department’s psychologist, Doctor Maureen “Mo” Cahill (Jordana Brewster).
Rounding out the precinct is Scorsese (Johnathan Fernandez), a pathologist with the LAPD who got his nickname after a stint in film school (which no one will let him forget).
By the time their first investigation ends, Riggs realizes he may have found something worth living for — a partner and friend, Murtaugh. And even Murtaugh figures this arrangement might just work out after all. If only Riggs doesn’t get them killed first.
Episode #55, “The Spy Who Loved Me”
When Cole is investigated by the FBI, Murtaugh is forced to question his loyalty to his own partner. Meanwhile, Cole works a case that puts Natalie’s fiancé, Andrew, into the crosshairs right before their wedding day.
First aired: February 26, 2019
What do you think? Do you like the Lethal Weapon TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for season four on FOX?
Great show, lots of action and laughs. What moron pulled the plug on this one? Hope he got fired.
WOW , WHAT DOPES…. THIS WAS A GREAT SHOW. WAYNE DID WINE , BUT STILL I LIKED THE SHOW ALOT SO DID MY WIFE. AND IF THERE WAS MORE WINING IM SURE A SUB COULD HAVE BEEN FOUND. .. MAYBE CW WILL PICK IT UP , THEY SEEM TO KEEP THE GOOD SHOWS GOING.
Should have been cancelled when Whining Wyans got frightened by Clayne Crawfords incredible talent. All that ridiculous nonsense should have ended abruptly when Crawford was fired. The show was Crawford…never Wyans So happy it’s put to rest
Renew, please do not cancel. This is a show that my husband añd I watch together .
Great Show, I know Damon Wayans needs to leave over medical and family concerns, so hopefully they do him justice in a replacement plan. Sean’Stifler’ Williams Scott was a great choice, so I have faith. Don’t Cancel.
Wesley Cole (Seann William Scott) Was the best choice for replacement. This show should not be CANCELLED period. We look forward to it each season.
This is one of the best shows out. They would be fools if they cancelled it.
Great show. I don’t know why you are cancelling it
Are you guys at FOX crazy why would you cancel just as it’s getting good you got your audience back please think about it and renew
Another show that we have not missed. Both Cole and Riggs are great, but we enjoy Cole more. Who makes these decisions? It doesn’t seem to be the audience.
I love the show it was GREAT and sometime funny that’s what made it good both Cole and Riggs were good. Love Damon W.
Good they cancelled lethal weapon was not the same since clayne left he was a good rigs
No way the show gets cancelled if there is A problem with one of the actors then replace the actor example the actor that plays Cole he was a replacement and he was better than the original guy so if you have to get rid of one of the key players just do that and give them another season the show was very entertaining and I will continue to watch and support the advertisers that support the show.
I only liked it when Riggs was on. He was the adventurer and star of the show. Cole is known as a comedian, it was hard for me to think any differently! They lost me when Riggs left! I tried, I couldn’t. Also Wayans are known for their comedy. It wasn’t a comedy show!
Yes. I enjoy Lethal Weapon. It seemed a downer when Clayne was fired but Cole has done a good job of replacing him. It took a little time but he got there and it is a very enjoyable program.
I have enjoyed lethal weapon from the start. Do not cancel this great TV show.
