TV show description:
This action drama series reimagines the movie franchise and follows a cop duo as they work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles.
Grief-stricken after the loss of his young wife and unborn child, ex-Navy SEAL-turned-detective Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) moves to California to “start over” at the LAPD.
He’s paired up with Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans). He’s just coming back to the job after a near-fatal heart attack. Riggs’ penchant for diving headfirst into the line of fire immediately clashes with Murtaugh’s prudent, by-the-book technique.
When Captain Brooks Avery (Kevin Rahm) assigns them to their first case together, Riggs drags Murtaugh into a high-speed chase culminating inside the Long Beach Grand Prix and a seaport shootout with drug dealers. Despite his protests, the older cop feels more alive than he has in years.
Meanwhile, Riggs gets a glimpse of why Murtaugh is so determined to get home safely at the end of each day — he’s got a wife, Trish (Keesha Sharp), teenagers Roger Junior (Dante Brown) and Riana (Chandler Kinney), and a newborn baby.
Riggs’ life-on-the-edge attitude makes him a priority case for the department’s psychologist, Doctor Maureen “Mo” Cahill (Jordana Brewster).
Rounding out the precinct is Scorsese (Johnathan Fernandez), a pathologist with the LAPD who got his nickname after a stint in film school (which no one will let him forget).
By the time their first investigation ends, Riggs realizes he may have found something worth living for — a partner and friend, Murtaugh. And even Murtaugh figures this arrangement might just work out after all. If only Riggs doesn’t get them killed first.
Episode #55, “The Spy Who Loved Me”
When Cole is investigated by the FBI, Murtaugh is forced to question his loyalty to his own partner. Meanwhile, Cole works a case that puts Natalie’s fiancé, Andrew, into the crosshairs right before their wedding day.
First aired: February 26, 2019
What do you think? Do you like the Lethal Weapon TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for season four on FOX?

Fantastic… best show and deeply upset tonight ends the season. Was checking to see when season 2 begins….
We love this show.. Look forward to Wednesday nights to watch…PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW.
I love this show. I wasn’t sure they’d be able to pull off the same chemistry as the movie but they do, maybe even better. I love all the characters and the storylines are always fresh. Not to mention the total laugh out loud moments! I can’t wait for next season!!
I absolutely love this show. I’ve always loved Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford is awesome. I look forward to Wednesday nights just to see Lethal Weapon. It has some similarities to the movie and yet keeps its own originality. Please keep this show on the air.
I like this show. My wife likes this show. That means it’s a keeper.
I really like this show. I am so tired of all the reality shows so I started flipping through the channels and started watching lethal weapon and was relieved to see something I could watch without drama from a reality show. Besides I like the characters of Damon Wayans, and Clayane Crawford.
Awesome show! The chemistry is good the action is good and it doesn’t offend the originality of its DNA. The show stays close to the Lethal Weapon Motion pictures without over shadowing the original cast members Danny Glover, Mel Gibson, Joe Pesci and Rene Russo whom brought each character to life in their unique way.
Awesome show.Funny, serious everything you would expect. The actors really seem to have a chemistry (Riggs & Murtaugh especially.
The show started out kinda slow BUT the episodes are really getting better and better. I actually wish it was on more often now. I am getting addicted to Riggs and what he will come up with next. Love the show.
I look forward to watching this show every week. I hope it stays on the air. Love it.
Love the show..please don’t cancel.
