TV show description:
A science fiction crime drama, this TV show follows the events of the 2011 film of the same name.
The series centers around the drug NZT-48 which unlocks 100% of the brain, giving whoever takes it complete recall of whatever they have learned — whether it be in class, a documentary, or even subconsciously. The origins of the drug are a mystery but it’s highly addictive and can have serious side-effects.
Deadbeat Brian Finch (Jake McDorman) is at a stage in his life where he realizes his ambition of becoming a rock star is not going to happen. Eddie Mora (Bradley Cooper) introduces Brian to the mysterious clear pill and it doesn’t take him long to realize its potential.
With his brain unlocked, he exhibits almost superhuman characteristics. Even Special Agent Boyle (Hill Harper), a highly skilled and highly trained professional who is at the top of his game, is unable to chase down Brian.
Aware of the drug’s existence through largely failed testing, FBI agent Rebecca Harris (Jennifer Carpenter) believes Brian’s abilities can be used as a resource and is determined to get Brian on her side.
With people willing to kill for the drug, Brian must decide where his loyalties lie.
Episode #22 — Finale: Part Two!
Following a stunning betrayal to their team, Brian and the FBI race to stop an NZT-enabled Sands (Colin Salmon) and his associates from orchestrating an international incident. Also, Brian experiences devastating side effects when his NZT immunity starts to wear off
First aired: April 26, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Limitless TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Husband and I loved the series. Fun and creative. Sorry to lose it.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the series and went on line to see when the second season was starting. We are sorry to see that there will not be one.
My daughter is 26 I am 57 my father is 83 and we all enjoyed this series The the original movie premise works very well in a continuing series. The characters were well developed and the dialogue was clear, full of content and amusing. Your actors excellent and every episode enjoyable. I really hope one of those “rogue” networks out there pick this up. CBS really dropped the ball on this one!
loved it!!! bring it back
loved the series bring brian back
totaly afree bting brian back
It wasn’t too bad, the last couple episodes where really good and got me interested. I was hoping for season 2. I believe Pepper was not a truthful a character. I was looking forward to see if she on the dark side. Disappointing that they didn’t give it a chance.
Bring this show back.
My husband an I watched every episode,.was funny, and suspenseful, would like to see it renewed.
i loved the believable characters, hope someone keeps it going!
I loved this series because of its believable characters.
Show had a great premise but the main character was not charismatic enough to pull off what was needed to keep viewers interested every week. It didn’t appeal enough to a broad audience.
This show was different: funny and suspenseful. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it!!
It’s a shame they cancelled another top rate TV show. Was very entertaining and a nice change from what has become the norm for television these days. Probably will be replaced by Dancing with the Bachelor with Judge Judy and Dr. Phil as hosts and judges.
Both me & my son loved the show. Lots of other friends were talking good about it also. Please bring it back. Comical and entertaining. Keeped your interest. Thanks, Ed
