Parker Posey is heading to Netflix. Deadline reports the actress has joined the streaming service’s upcoming remake of Lost in Space.

The series is based on Irwin Allen’s classic 1960s sci-fi drama, which followed the Robinsons, a space-traveling family that find themselves stranded, “battling a strange new alien environment and their own personal demons.”

Posey will play Dr. Smith. She joins fellow cast members Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, and Maxwell Jenkins. Lost in Space is slated to debut in 2018.
