TV show description:
A scripted comedy from creators Peter Farrelly and Bobby Mort, the Loudermilk TV show centers on Sam Loudermilk (Livingston), a recovering alcoholic. Despite working as a substance abuse counselor, Sam doesn’t bother to filter his thoughts and exudes a horrible attitude about everything. In his opinion, getting sober was much simpler than getting his life together.
Despite his disposition, Sam is adept at helping other addicts get into and remain in recovery. He could probably stop irritating and insulting everyone in his path, if only he cared to do so.
As Loudermilk’s sponsor and best friend, Ben Barnes (Sasso) has his work cut out for him. Despite battling his own demons, Ben remains the one person reliable person in Loudermilk’s life. That could all change, though, if Sam ever discovers the dark secret Ben has been harboring.
As a favor to the priest who supervises the community center where he holds his sobriety meetings, Sam reaches out to help Claire (Savcic). After her father’s death, Claire took a dive into the deep end with plenty of drugs and booze. She and Loudermilk frequently clash, probably because they’re more alike than they care to admit.
Finally, there is Allison (Mennell), Loudermilk’s new next door neighbor. Although she followed her physician-boyfriend all the way to Seattle, there is some chemistry between Allison and Sam, which is probably why he can’t help but tick her off at every opportunity.

What do you think? Do you like the Loudermilk TV series? Should this TV show be cancelled or renewed for another season on Audience Network?
This show is great. Hope it continues
Please do not cancel. Have grown to love Loudermilk.
Love this show! Recovery vs dysfunction, what a premise! The most positive, entertaining thing that has happened in a while.
Please Renew this great show! I have loved this show from the very first scene.
Whoever wrote that and all the episodes are fantastic. Love the cast. I have loved Ron Livingston sense Band of Brothers. I just noticed that I wrote love way too many times. So………..I really like the show and just want to move in together at first. 🙂
Please extend, I don’t watch much TV at all but I finally found a show I like. I was thinking of switching to TWC as I’m moving but will keep Direct TV for Loudermilk, hopefully I don’t get screwed and they cancel the series
Love the humor and the soft side as well.
Please give this show the publicity it needs to find its audience. We are out there!!!!!
Please renew!
So Glad I found this show !Love the No Filter approach. Great Show !
Love it love it love it. Please renew!! Don’t cancel!!!
This show is awesome. I love all of the characters and the actors. It’s a refreshing change to the drab cop shows, doctor shows, reality shows. Thank you. Please film another season.
What a great show. We are now living in a society of sissies, and this show is a NICE BREAK from all of that! Nice to see realistic characters and banter on a show….I know lots of people like this. Anyway, love this show!
It’s about time, in my opinion strictly, that a fine blend of hardcore reality with the right blend of comedy makes it to the television screen that has been Void of realism for so long…….. Layman’s terms, I FRIKKIN LOVE IT!!!!
This show is hilarious. Witty, dark at times, but overall a good moral story. I laugh every time Loudermilk gets in arguments with random people on the street. Great show.
Loudermilk being our family name certainly made several of us curious about this new series. At our reunion this weekend those of us who watched the first episode discussed it. Overall, we thought it was a Realistic portrayal. Some felt the language was a little Strong for our taste, but also realize that’s how it is in real life situations. We liked Sam Loudermilk’s no nonsense, no enabling attitude. As a former Chemical Dependency counselor, I can relate. Interestingly, several of us stated that Sam actually look like he could be a family member. We all said that we will… Read more »
Hi, Crystal! I was also curious how they came up with Loudermilk myself! Even, though my last name now has an A it was originally spelled with an O up until my Grandpa joined the military and his O’s looked like A’s so the Army changed the spelling! I am just now watching the first episodes and yes the language is a bit strong but I am really loving this show and it defintley brings laughter which is very hard to come by anymore! We, are more than likely distant relatives, with the last name Loudermilk, it surely isn’t a… Read more »
