Giving the devil his due this Halloween, FOX has ordered a full second season of its Lucifer TV show. Because in its first season, Lucifer premiered at midseason, originally, the network only ordered 13 episodes for season two. Now, Deadline reports FOX has just picked up the back nine, therefore giving the show a full 22 episode season.
Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Rachel Harris, Kevin Alejandro, DB Woodside, Scarlett Estevez, and Tricia Helfer star in the horror/black comedy series.

“Lucifer continues to deliver, with great blasts of dark humor and ambitious storytelling. The show has turned out to be a true wicked pleasure, the perfect companion to Gotham, and we couldn’t be more pleased to order these nine additional episodes,” said Fox entertainment president David Madden.

i was skeptical when it first aired but now i’m hooked. it took a few eps to really pull me in, glad i gave it a chance. even though its been slipping a little bit, i hope it continues to a 3rd season (especially since Grimm is ending!)
I really like this show, it’s very intriguing and quite funny with a lot of good looking people in it….. the man who plays lucifer is amazing!!! If anything, he will make it big in Hollywood he has a certain charisma like no other….. the show is slow, but not as slow as the walking dead, so you don’t have to wait forever to see how things play out, the only way I can think of this show getting any better, is if they put more supernatural stuff in it, but hands down one of my favorite shows!!! Lucifer is the best show to hit TV for years!! It has great writers, a good cast and the humor is off the wall! They couldn’t have picked a better actor to play Lucifer. Tom Ellis does a bang up job! With all the boring reality TV we’re stuck with, thank you for giving us one GOOD series to watch. I’m hoping to see many, many more seasons of this show. Lucifer is mine and my fiancées favorite show as soon as the show is over we can’t believe we need to go 7 more days till it airs again we love and hope fox keeps it going for a long long time we are unhappy that we have to wait 6 weeks to see the next episode and wonder why you would punish us and make us wait that long please tell us why it’s postponed

I LOVE this show, especially the dark humor. Tom Ellis is fabulous as is the rest of the cast. The therapist scenes are great! (I’m a clinical psychologist.) I only watch three shows on TV, and this is one of them.

Hope it continues. Wondering if Jesus, Gabriel or even God will enter the picture. At first I was skeptical about the show. It makes you look at your own family dynamics and rebellious nature and the 7 deadly sins a little closer. Who wants to be punished in Hell right…….
