LUCIFER

The reign of Lucifer continues… for now. Deadline reports Netflix has renewed the TV show for a fifth and final season.

The drama series, which was picked up by Netflix after being cancelled by FOX, stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, who leaves Hell for Los Angeles. The cast also includes German, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Scarlett Estevez, Inbar Lavi, Vinessa Vidotto and Graham McTavish.

I was beyond ecstatic to learn Netflix had picked up “Lucifer”, but am now heartbroken to learn this coming season will be the last! Not sure how long this story could have run, but geez & hell I’m gonna miss it when it’s gone!!

There are not very many shows that I actually look forward to seeing this is one of them!!! I’m grateful that Netflix picked it up but I wish that they would add more seasons I think this is a show that could keep going for 10 years!! It’s only started to get more complicated and involved and learned more about the characters why end it now??

I’m 6 episodes into the fourth season and it’s pretty much the same, with a little more menace than previous seasons but I would really like to see something much darker for the final season.

LOVE THE SHOW! CAN’T GET ENOUGHT OF LUCIFER & THE CAST. CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY HAVE IN STORE. KEEP IT GOING, IT’S THE BEST SHOW.

I would like to get 7 more seasons, but I am surley glad to get a fifths one. Lucifer is my fave, why it must end now?

Fantastic, can hardly wait, just sorry Netflix are calling it 5th and final season. Hopefully Netflix get a bigger than expected response from their audience and reconsider and keep it going.

This show is amazing! Love to know it’s coming back for a 5th season but sad that it will be the end if the show. Truly great cast of actors and story line.

Season 5 was good ,but there has got to be more ,I am hoping you will reconsider and add more seasons ,you left some openings where you could keep going if you wanted to

Love this show! I would have loved to see more seasons, but I can see why the story is coming to its natural conclusion. Lucifer Morningstar’s character development has come so far, he would have to regress too much, too unbelievably for the writers to draw more episodes out of the series. Still hate to see it go, but I will keep the fire burning with fan fiction on An Archive of our Own! Lots of excellent writers there.

Thank-you very much, Netflix, for saving Lucifer. It’s my favorite show. I am extremely grateful that we are getting one more season, but I will miss it immensely when it is gone.

Absolutely delighted to hear there will be a Season 5! Only thing is not happy to hear that it is scheduled to be the final season. Must that be?
