Lucifer has been a lead character on a handful of TV series over the years but the shows rarely last more than a season or two. How will Lucifer perform on FOX? Will the ratings be good or very bad? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On the Lucifer TV show, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. Charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome, he’s enjoying his retirement while owning a nightclub. His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. He starts to have feelings of compassion for the first time in billions of years and ends up helping a homicide detective (Lauren German). The rest of the cast includes Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, D. B. Woodside, and Scarlett Estevez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/7 update: FOX has renewed Lucifer for a second season. Details here.
4/26 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Please renew. I love Tom Ellis as Lucifer. Give the show a chance
I now look forward to Mondays thanks to Tom Ellis devilishly charming Lucifer
5.5 million people are still loving this show 🙂
Unfortunately those of us Canadians aren’t included in the numbers. “Lucifer” has a loyal fan base and I never miss an episode. Fortunately with my cable subscriber I can watch an episode multiple times. As a Canadian I hope this show is renewed as it is one of the best on the TV
Please do not cancel Lucifer. It’s fiction. It’s entertainment. If someone doesn’t like it, no one is forcing them to watch it.
Ugh… please cancel and give Lucifer a decent adaptation.
Please all of you stop watching this show.
Best show, please renew
I love this show – Tom Ellis as Lucifer is fantastic. Please renew this show.
I agree! Best show on Monday nights.

Becoming mortal has no sense…… it becomes a crimes series we really used to watch. ….. but I love it…..too bad lucifer s mortal ???
LOVEEEE this show!!! <3 there hasss to be a season 2!!!!! some people just don't know what a good show is! There has to be a season 2!
Me and my 16 year old son love this show and we don’t usually like the same shows. looking foward to a season 2 and more!!!
This is my first tv show comment…..EVER!!
Lucifer was definitely not what I expected when it first aired. However, I found the show to be refreshing with its sarcasm and subtle sexual talk. I also like how the story line shows Lucifer’s curiosity with a particular human being and the last affects she has on him. And while he knows he has never felt this way and knows it could be fatal to him, he continues to seek her out. I feel the show should continue forward to see if a Heavenly host can truly be changed by the mere existence of a mortal.
Mortal evil!! He is god damn evil dont make him weak!!!
I wonder what Hulu shows for viewership, I can never watch it on Mondays because of School, but I always catch up with it by watching the episodes on Hulu.
Love this show. So different and entertaining. Love that the devil always tells the truth. Tom Ellis is perfectly cast. Hope there’s a season two.
