Lucifer has been a lead character on a handful of TV series over the years but the shows rarely last more than a season or two. How will Lucifer perform on FOX? Will the ratings be good or very bad? Cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On the Lucifer TV show, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. Charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome, he’s enjoying his retirement while owning a nightclub. His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. He starts to have feelings of compassion for the first time in billions of years and ends up helping a homicide detective (Lauren German). The rest of the cast includes Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, D. B. Woodside, and Scarlett Estevez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/7 update: FOX has renewed Lucifer for a second season. Details here.
4/26 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Love this show. I would love to be able to write and submit an episode
Love this show and would love to write an episode
Me and my sister love this show. She lives on the east coast opposite of where I am and this show has help keep us more connected than we’ve been since high school. We really love this show as its been really entertaining and cracks us both up which says a lot given the subject matter it plays with so I sincerely hope it gets a second chance.
Love it <3
Wife and I love it,it’s what tv should be,entertaining
I really like the show, but I see it changing
Lucifer from the debut show. I believe it will be cancelled if they make him more like a mortal. He needs to do devilish things.
Love it, renew it
Definitely renew!! Love this handsome fantasy-&I’m 61 years old!
I love the show.
Please renew!! Show is amazing and Lucifer is so yummy!!
My wife and I love this show! The dry humor rocks.
Finally something enjoyable up against Monday Night Raw (which is why your ratings are on the low side.) Give him a better night and watch the ratings soar.
Keep keep keep.
I bloody love my show! You shouldn’t be biased of other people’s religions.. My father would be very angry. Some people absolutely love my devilish ways Please continue. So tell me.. What do you desire?
Great show, keep it going!
Please don’t cancel the series, my husband and I love the show. Great actor s ,funny, smart. Also handsome.
I really love this show and hope they will NOT cancel it. I’m also hoping that they don’t continue with what I fear is a mistake in the story line, that they are making Lucifer more human. Nooooo please don’t do that!!! I wonder if the declining ratings are because of that?
I’m completely hooked! Love the humour, and witty dialogue. Tom Ellis has real presence in the lead role and plays the devil perfectly. He’s ably supported by an excellent cast. It is good to see the gradual development of the main characters into real three dimensional people, This makes the whole thing, somehow, ‘believable’, despite the highly fanciful premise for the series, The appropriately ‘devilish’ music used in the series is just icing on the (Devil’s Food!) cake! It’s good to see a TV series that relies on wit and clever repartee rather than the usual flashy effects and random… Read more »
