TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Lucifer is one of the few programs I really enjoy. If it is picked up by another network I would definatly watch it.
This is one of my favorite shows . I love the cast ! I hope they can bring this back like they did One Man Standing. Why cancel a show that is popular ?
don’t cancel Lucifer. we love the show
Who makes these decisions? It’s obvious they never watched Lucifer. It’s a funny show! Great actors, amazing storylines, excellent writers, directors and special effects.
I cannot understand why good tv shows like this get cancelled. I looked forward to every Monday night when Lucifer would be on and now that’s gone. If I can find the series on dvd, I will get it, that’s for sure!
This was a family favorite. So much more of the story to tell. Please, someone pick this show up so that the story can continue.

I am so upset that you would cancel Lucifer. I LOVED LOVED LOVED this show. I love Tom Ellis. This show had everything , laughs, tears, drama etc. Why on earth would you cancel? There are so many horrible shows out there and this one you cancel. SHAME ON YOU FOX! I refuse to watch another show on fox. Very very disappointed !!!!! and sad!
I am sorry to hear this. I find it very disturbing that a lot of good series, that show promise, are cancelled too soon! Perhaps a result of our new ” instant gratification society.” Some” popular ” ratings companies are not as accurate as they claim. There should be more competition in the ratings measurement companies and they should be compared to each other. Please do not let ONE companies ratings speak for the whole country. I will follow this show, no matter who decided to pick it up. Sham on Fox network!
The show had 100% critics approval and 87% audience approval – tops on Fox. Why would they cancel it? I hope it gets picked up by some other network. Fox just picked up Last Man Standing, thankfully. Now they cancel one of my wife and my favorite shows. Please reconsider
one of the best shows on tv! are you crazy cancelling it????
Please do not cancel Lucifer…it is a great show that is just about to take off. The season finale was great and wish to see the next step…
I love Lucifer! How in the world could they end it like that! I want to see what happens to everyone. Please don’t cancel this show!
