TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
I love this show, please don’t cancel. It’s the only show I look forward to watching. I love the jokes and acting, and I really love the episodes he sings in. He has quite a good singing voice. I love how Linda’s advice just goes over his head. This show just really entertains all around.
Lucifer is a great show. I never miss an episode. I think Fox is making a huge mistake. I agree that Fox has done it before with good shows.
Why would cancelling Lucifer even be a consideration to the powers that be at Fox? It is the only show on television I never miss. The best show Fox has every aired in my opinion. It is the only show my husband and I enjoy together. Fox has done this before with good shows, but Fox will seriously be losing viewers with this decision. All my friends are big fans of Lucifer as well. Please reconsider and bring Lucifer back.
Lucifer is an incredible show! There is absolutely nothing else worth watching in this time frame, which means more dollars for you in advertising! So bottom line, this show is a money maker for you! Cancelling this show is a HUGE mistake!
I am truly disappointed that Luxifer is cancelled. I hope it will be reconsidered or put on another station. BRING BACK LUCIFER
Fox made a great mistake in cancelling this show! Ratings really, what numbers are you looking at. So you give us a finale and leave it at that, no follow up, just keep the fans in limbo. Fox you are lame, you don’t know what real people watch. This is a great show, great actors, may have to boycott FOX altogether!!!
The wife and I both love this show and so do many of our friends. Those people that cancelled Lucifer should be looking for a job. This was our favorite show on TV.
Lucifer shouldn’t be cancelled it’s also my favorite show
Lucifer, by far is the best show on television!
It’s the only one I make time for and I schedule life around it……if only we could get more people on the viewing list.
I agree with the comments that Fox keeps far too many marginal shows. I can’t believe they would cancel Lucifer. Poor decision.
This is my favorite tv show. You need to make a better ending of all the characters and not leave everybody hanging.
What this is not true ? I read online that there is going to be a season four of Lucifer.
This is my favorite TV series, it is so wild and cool and funny.
The actor that plays Lucifer, Tom Ellis is so hot and a good actor.
The cast has that so L.A. look too.
Do not cancel this Fox channel show, please don’t !!!!!!
I am really tired of Fox cancelling the good shows and keeping the not so good. I loved watching Lucifer, as I have loved other shows that Fox cancelled for no good reason. I have decided to just not watch Fox Network and I will be informing my friends to do likewise.
I AM JUST SICK THAT THIS ISN’T GOING TO BE RENEWED. WHY IS IT CANCELLED? I DON’T UNDERSTAND. I AM SO MAD. WHAT IS THE REASON FOR BEING CENCELLED? I WATCHED EVERY EPISODE AND IF I COULD’NT WATCH I RECORDED IT. NOW WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? WE CAN’T BE JUST LEFT HANGING WITH THAT ENDING, SURELY NOT!
NOOOO! It is one of my Favorite Shows! Keep IT!!!!
