TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
WELL, THERE THE NETWORKS GO AGAIN!!! CANCELLING ANOTHER FANTASTIC SHOW!!! Maybe I should stop watching television. All they do is get you hooked on a great show and then snatch it away from you!!!!!
I am devastated that Lucifer has been cancelled!!! I was really hoping for another season…absolutely love the show! And the way season 3 ended, leaves us forever wondering what transpires between Chloe and Lucifer. So sad!!!!
My wife and I love this show. It’s pretty much the only one we watch. Please…BRING IT BACK
This is one show my husband and I agree on! Please don’t cancel!
Very saddened and shocked really that it’s cancelled. I’m a HUGE fan of this show. It’s not like anything else on television and has great story lines. Tom Ellis is perfect in this role…and so darn lovable! So we’re left hanging after the Season 3 finale? Such a shame.
Please don’t cancel this show! It’s refreshingly hilarious, I love all the characters and the story lines are great.
I have been talking about this show to everyone who will listen and they have started watching it too.
Season four has already been filmed, so it will be a shame not to air it. Please can another network take Lucifer under its wing?
I really like this show. Please don’t cancel it. It is clever, funny and dark. Those kind of shows are hard to find.
Please keep this show on the air. there is very little shows that i actually look forward to seeing.
Absolutely right.
how stupid can you be to stop such a wonderfull serie. Had used some more imagination. The Devil is after God the strongest. The last episode was overwhelming. You should have done this much sooner. The writer of this series had no fantasy at all like Spielberg did. Take a writer with a lot of imagination and voila you will see that this series is a huge success.
Shame on you FOX!!!!
Renew this show. It is better than most broadcast tv shows and those stupid comedies like Big Bore Dreary
why would you get raid of the best show but they keep **** like nine nine get the show back dumb asses like you got anything better
Do not cancel Lucifer – there is way to much loony comedy for the brainless on tv. WE need more good programing that challenges the mind
Absolutely love this show! I cannot believe it’s been cancelled. FOX has cancelled several top shows and kept ones that are not. Baffling. If you want to keep viewers, please reconsider.
it should not have been cancelled. FOX treats it “fans” horribly, canceling shows with mega cliffhangers…and that shows they do not really care about their fans.
if you want us to watch your shows, then do not stick it to us when we do because some bean counter says it should. HOW CAN SUPERNATURAL DO SO WELL with no publicity ever…yet that show is still on. This was wrong and is another reason to WALK AWAY FROM FOX.
Well, I want them to keep Lucifer, but Supernatural is the best show on TV except for Doctor Who.
Love this show
Can another network please bring it back?
Best season finale ever!!
This show is Awesome and too fun to follow – please DO NOT CANCEL!
