Will the Dobermans catch Magnum in the second season of the Magnum PI TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Magnum PI is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of Magnum PI here. *Status update below.
A CBS action-drama series, Magnum PI stars Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. This reboot of the 1980s TV show follows Thomas Magnum (Hernandez), a decorated former Navy SEAL who repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator. He lives in a guest cottage on Robin’s Nest, the luxurious estate where he works as a security consultant to supplement his P.I. business. The “majordomo” of the property is Juliet Higgins (Weeks), a beautiful and commanding disavowed MI:6 agent who keeps Magnum in line. When Magnum needs back-up on a job, he turns to his trusted buddies and fellow POW survivors, chopper pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin (Hill) and Orville “Rick” Wright (Knighton), a former Marine door-gunner who now runs a nightclub. Magnum frequently has run-ins with police detective Gordon Katsumoto (Kang) and the two are more alike than either cares to admit. Teuila “Kumu” Tuileta (Hill) is one of Magnum’s biggest fans and is also the unofficial “House Mom” and cultural curator of Robin’s Nest.

I really enjoy the new Magnum pi reboot. The whole cast is amazing. Everything about this show is awesome! Plz renew it for more seasons! I know it was said to be put on the back burner while Macgyver comes back but plz can you at least put it on another day instead of shelving it for awhile? It would be a real shame if Magnum pi was put on hold or canceled
When this show came on the air, I was hesitant, being a Tom Selleck fan and all, so it took me a few weeks to sit and watch. I really like this one with the new Higgins and the rest of the cast. I’m glad its suce a good show, don’t cancel!!

This is a great show. Magnum and Higgins are great together. This new Magnum is as good or better than the original, I can’t decide. I look forward to Friday night lineup with 5-0, Magnum and Blue Blood
I truly enjoyed the original Magnum PI. I was actually stationed with the Navy and luved in Hawaii during the show’s final season (and 5 more years,) and used to kayak at Waimanalo, down beach from where the estate scenes were filmed. And I was apprehensive and ready to dislike this new show, but as I watched the first few episodes it grew on me and it is well done and basically faithful (casting aside) to the original. Nearly 40 years later once again Magnum is a favorite. Great job in recreating some of the magic the original show. A great cast, plot lines, and action scenes make this high on my list of must watch!
I Love, Magnum PI just as Much as the original one!!! My wife & I use to watch it Every Week back in the 1980’s!!! DAM Great, show and actor’s on Magnum PI… CBS, you have done a Excellent job with theses types of Shows!!!

Love this show. Magnum and Juliette are the stars, no doubt, and make a great team. I also like Amy Hill. Magnum’s buddies roles need to be developed more and in time this will become a Friday night staple just like Hawaii 5-O. They should also do a crossover of the two shows. That could be very entertaining.

Love this reboot of TV’s original Magnum PI.
Fresh (and handsome) new faces with good storylines and terrific comradery between all the characters. They even have “the Lads” (Zeus & Apollo) ! I hope this show is on for many seasons to come !
Very glad it has returned for season 2. Enjoy the characters. I hope they keep them all. I HATE it when a show drops a popular character simply to change things up. Fans HATE that.
I love this show. I think it deserves to keep going. This is one of the better reboots of past shows. Like Hawaii 5 0 and macgyver let’s keep these around for a while
this show is decent at best, the fact that they are adding “higgins” to a fulltime role and partner of magnums, proves the show needed fixing, the premiere was ok, some of the acting is a bit better ( needs alot of work) but not great yet, by magnum/t.c. and rick, when the two women are the best actors on a show that are NOT the lead, it shows issues. ill give this show 2-3 more episodes to see if it gets better, or stays the same, gets worse ( to lat years standards ) and for gods sake i… Read more »
