Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD was renewed for a fifth season on ABC last week, and the season four finale airs tonight. Fans have been wondering when Agents of SHIELD, season five, will air. The bad news is, the sci-fi series’ debut will be a little delayed. The good news, however, is that it will kick off later in the fall, and has been renewed for a full 22-episode season.
An ABC superhero action-adventure series, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, Adrianne Palicki, Henry Simmons, Luke Mitchell, and John Hannah.
ABC released its fall 2017-18 schedule, this week. The Alphabet Network has decided to move the seventh season of a rebooted Once Upon a Time to Friday nights. There it will first lead into the eight episode first season of Marvel’s Inhumans. Once Inhumans has completed its run, season five of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will kick off in the same time slot.
Entertainment Weekly reports on the rationale, behind the scheduling changes:
“We’ve turned Friday into more of a destination for our fantasy and science fiction fans,” ABC Chief Channing Dungey told reporters Tuesday morning. “Once Upon a Time and S.H.I.E.L.D. are airing on the same night for the first time, which is giving many fans of both shows what they’ve been asking for for a long time.”

“When we were looking at the schedule, it’s interesting how much pressure we’ve had from fans to put those shows closer together on the schedule for quite some time,” Dungey continued. “We like the idea of Fridays being a destination. Once Upon a Time has done a wonderful job on Sundays of keeping the lights on against football, but we’re looking to see how it will perform when it’s away from football for awhile.”

A delay in starting SHIELD seems seems like. seems like death seems like Deathknell imho. Personally Personally not Personally not interested Personally not interested interested in humans at all. Also not a fan OUAT, but but but I know but I know people who are fans of both shows . I suppose the pairing is ok, but I prefer SHIELD on Tuesdays. Friday is already SyFy Friday. ABC should pick another day
No leave once Upon A Time on Monday nights at some times. Marvel’s Agents of Shield should be on Friday nights. In season 7 Once Upon A Time i want to know the origins of Henry’s book like where it come from and who wrote the book.

Love the show, and also think that following the 8 episodes of The Inhumans, with 22 of SHIELD, will allow for a schedule, with fewer breaks. Sounds great to me!
