After many years, The CW revived the Masters of Illusion TV show for new seasons on Friday nights. It beat the odds and was renewed and is now in its third season on the network. Will it be cancelled or renewed for another year? Stay tuned.

Masters of Illusion debuted on Pax TV in 2000 and ran for two seasons before moving to MyNetworkTV for a third year. Dean Cain is the host of this program that features magicians as they perform escapes, large-scale illusions, and sleight-of-hand tricks for a live audience.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
