Stockard Channing has been cast in the Me & Mean Margaret TV series pilot at NBC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this unlikely buddy comedy features Channing as the “fiercely candid and often offensive legendary actress,” Margaret. The young lawyer tasked with keeping an eye on her has yet to be cast.
From Universal Television, Me & Mean Margaret is written by Will & Grace‘s Adam Barr, who will executive produce with Peter Chernin, of Chernin Entertainment.
NBC ordered the Me & Mean Margaret pilot, earlier this month.
