Are Christy and Bonnie still walking the walk during the fifth season of the Mom TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Mom is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the Mom season five episodes here.
A CBS sitcom, Mom stars Anna Faris, Allison Janney, Jaime Pressly, Matt Jones, Sadie Calvano, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, Mimi Kennedy, Beth Hall, and William Fichtner. The series centers on Christy (Faris), a single mom in recovery who has moved back in with her own single, recovering mother, Bonnie (Janney). Bonnie’s attempts to make up for her failings can try Christy’s patience. After all, she’s busy working on her relationships with her own kids and their father and working toward a new career. Meanwhile, Bonnie is learning how to forge healthy relationships and still wonders what she’ll be when she grows up. Together, and with the help of AA, Christy and Bonnie spot one another along the road to recovery.
What do you think? Which season five episodes of the Mom TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Should CBS cancel or renew Mom for a sixth season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
I absolutely love it! Please do not cancel. This show always makes me laugh. Renew, Renew, Renew!!!
I cannot imagine why on earth this show would be canceled. I was very surprised to read that the ratings have slipped over the years! It’s HILARIOUS & there’s never been anything like it on t.v. I’ve been a huge fan of ‘Mom’ since the first episode and am utterly flabbergasted that it’s even being CONSIDERED to be canceled.
Just started watching..realized I’ve been missing out on a very funny show for yrs..thank goodness for syndication! Catching up!
Love this show!!! Only suggestion is to protest Christy finally getting her life in order and showing more different hardships. Show us that things can improve even after battling addictions even though there are still ups and downs. Show more about the kids!! Please don’t cancel this show!!!
mom is a great show please don’t cancel
Mom is the only comedy that I watch, except for Frasier reruns.
Mom is the greatest show.do not cancel.
Mom is funnier that Everyone Loves Raymond and King of Queens, but enjoy all three.
i have come to the conclusion “Mom” is the best comedy on t.v since 2 broke girls but “Mom” is even better than 2 broke girls
At first I thought the interaction of the characters was honest and entertaining, but whoever it is that thinks “banging, blow jobs, I’m gonna’ hump you till I can’t walk,” dialogue is bloody hilarious, ruined it. In my entire dysfunctional existence, I’ve never known one crazy ass person remotely that boring….it’s really kind of insulting how y’all perceive us……
Love this show to me and my daughter it’s #1 I watch it every nite on Hulu and CBS can’t get enough
LOVE the show, Mom!! Just found it this past season and my family is in love with the show! So hilarious!! Please keep it on!!!!
I’m in recovery myself. I have 10 years clean now and it’s nice seeing somebody with the same struggles on TV. I absolutely love this show and how it shows that addicts can be successful in recovery. Not to mention it’s hilarious!
Wonderful show with an artful/comedic way to deal with real life awful and/or impossible situations, disorders, etc. Also a good show about ways to deal with mom/daughter relationships. Love it; don’t cancel!
“Mom” is a fun show to watch! I hope it is not cancelled.
