TV show description:
Based on the critically-acclaimed memoir Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs & Classical Music by Blair Tindall, this dramedy series takes a look at what happens behind the curtains at the New York Symphony. It turns out that backstage is just as captivating as what happens on stage. Artistic dedication and creativity collide with mind games, politicking and survival instincts.
A young oboist named Hailey (Lola Kirke) tries to navigate through the egos and eccentricities of a world renowned orchestra, hoping for her big chance. Meanwhile brash new conductor Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal), an enfant terrible, has a passion for music that threatens the plans of the orchestra’s old guard.
That old guard is represented by Thomas (Malcolm McDowell), the reluctantly outgoing conductor, and Gloria (Bernadette Peters), the chairwoman of the board. They wonder what they have wrought by bringing Rodrigo into the fold.
The musicians themselves, a colorful family of disparate personalities, are struggling to deal with this new regime as well. Along with her friends Alex (Peter Vack), a dancer on the brink of success; worldly cellist Cynthia (Saffron Burrows); and world-class partier Lizzie (Hannah Dunne), Hailey searches for what it means to dedicate your life to music.
Episode #40: “Dance”
The premiere Hesby’s new piece doesn’t go exactly as planned. Hailey recommits herself to the music. Cynthia finds solace in her new endeavors. Rodrigo must make a choice about his role in the orchestra. (Courtesy of Amazon)

What do you think? Do you like the Mozart in the Jungle TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?
Just binge watched both seasons. MORE!!!!!
I just started watching Season Two. Please renew for more.
I just watched Season One and Two. Please renew for more seasons!
Yes,definitely renew this show. The music is amazing, the plots have traction and I want to see more
This is the most enjoyable production I have watched in a long time. I have already binged the first season and cannot wait for the next and next and next. The acting is superb, the cast perfect the writing is bright and the interweaving of themes artful. Please continue and I will be a loyal fan.
MORE!!!
Please, do continue this series! It’s absolutely fabulous!
Notify me when season 3 begins! I don’t need to see other comments — I already know that everyone loves it!!!
Please renew this series. I loved the unpredictable plot twists. The characters are so individual, even kookie, but even the least appealing ones are surprisingly tender and sweet at times. I found the story and the characters very moving. Loved, loved, loved the music.
Loved this series, please continue!
Absolutely! Bring on more seasons!!! Fresh, unique and wickedly eccentric!!! I am guilty of “Binge-Watching” all 10 episodes and now find myself going through withdrawals! To let this series end here would be more tragic than Otello in which coincidently the main character Roderigo closely resembles the same name of Maestro Rodrigo in Mozart in the Jungle! Please Amazon give us more!!!!
You absolutely must continue this dynamic show. It is true, believable, sexy and Very Smart
I LOVE this show! Great cast, fun interactions and I sure don’t want to be left hanging after that 10th episode! MORE please.
Do Not cancel, best show ever. Just discovered and watched all in two nites. I love it! Please advertise it so people know? Please pleas more! I cant believe the Transparent got awards and this didnt.
Could not agree more. How in the world could Transparent receive awards when this superior piece of comedy, drama, acting and well-crafted story existed, but was not recognized?
I would love to see this series continue. I really enjoy the character interactions. I look forward to seeing what direction it goes in season 2. Great first season 1, I hope they write a second season.
Great fun! Would be very pleased to see additional episodes. Vote: Renee!
