You can stop worrying that it has been cancelled. Investigation Discovery has renewed its Murder Chose Me TV show for a second season. The series features retired Shreveport homicide detective Rod Demery, whose own mother was murdered when he was just three years old.
Jupiter Entertainment produces Murder Chose Me for Investigation Discovery. Jupiter’s Todd Moss executive produces, and Erich Sturm co-executive produces. Lorna Thomas executive produces for ID.
Deadline has confirmed the Murder Chose Me season two renewal is for 10 episodes, which will premiere in 2018.

I love this show. Rod Demery doesn’t drag out his investigations, he simply follows the evidence and astutely evaluates it. His work is incredible, gets right to the meat and potatoes.
Here at my home, we all loved “Murder Chose Me”. We thought it may have been discontinued. Glad there is a season two to look forward to.

I really liked the series and am waiting for season two. He seemed very intent on solving what ever was given to him. I was able to relate to Dep. Demery because he came off as a real person, not an actor, keep up the good job!

I am so glad the show is coming back. I have been anxiously searching for the show during the new season line ups. I love the way Rod Demery presents himself. He has such a smooth calm demeanor. I am definitely a Rod Demery fan. The returning of the show will be another great thing to look forward to in the year 2018.

I love the show. I like to watch detective shows where investigators are using every day language expressing the emotional roller coasters they go through.
This is such a great show! I would have been very disappointed if it had been cancelled. The unfortunate loss of Demery’s mother makes each case so personal for him, and it adds to the intensity of the show.
