You can stop worrying that it has been cancelled. Investigation Discovery has renewed its Murder Chose Me TV show for a second season. The series features retired Shreveport homicide detective Rod Demery, whose own mother was murdered when he was just three years old.
Jupiter Entertainment produces Murder Chose Me for Investigation Discovery. Jupiter’s Todd Moss executive produces, and Erich Sturm co-executive produces. Lorna Thomas executive produces for ID.
Deadline has confirmed the Murder Chose Me season two renewal is for 10 episodes, which will premiere in 2018.

The first time I saw a preview for “Murder Chose Me”, the detective was talking about a case involving a prostitute. He said that before he found out she was a prostitute, he was handling the case like any other homicide, he said it was because she may have been someone’s daughter, not “just a prostitute”. As if he wouldn’t have put that much effort into the investigation if he had known from the beginning what she did. Either way, she’s someone’s daughter and deserves the same respect. I love this show I love that whole thing about it I hope it comes back full force. Please bring it back me and my big family watched it every night it was on. I’m in Alaska this show is a hit up here

Can’t wait for the new season to start, I you were in his shoes you may feel that murder chose you. You shows how he learned from life to do a good job for the city of Shreveport.

I am from south carolina and love the show. i lived in shreveport when he was working the cases and rember how hard he worked to solve the cases he worked. great show and a great man. cant wait for the second season.
It’s about time. I truly love Rod Demery. He truly care about his victims and their family’s. I do believe that God has chose him to be a detective. Yes and Amen

I love the show. It is intriguing and well done. I love both the real detective as well as the actor portraying him. The stories are well laid out and hold me for the entire duration. Keep up the good work and thanks for renewing a fine program.
When is the show coming back? I love this series. I set my DVR to automatically record it, but I haven’t see anything so far. I hope it’s returning.
