Adrien Brody is headed across the pond. Deadline reports the actor has joined season four of the BBC series Peaky Blinders.
The drama, which airs on Netflix in the U.S., follows a family of gangsters in 1920s Birmingham, England. The cast includes Cillian Murphy, Sam Neill, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Iddo Goldberg, Annabelle Wallis, Sophie Rundle, Joe Cole, and Ned Dennehy.
Brody’s season four role has not been revealed, but creator Steven Knight mentioned “He genuinely was the actor in my head when I wrote the part. I’m sure he will be a formidable presence in the world of the Peaky Blinders.”
Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for season four of Peaky Blinders.
