What’s This TV Show About?
A comedic supernatural AMC drama, from Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Colletti Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, and Malcolm Barrett. Betty Buckley and Colin Cunningham join as season regulars in the third season, with Jeremy Childs, Liz McGreever, Jonny Coyne, Adam Croasdell, and Prema Cruz recurring. The story centers on West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Cooper), his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Negga), and Irish vampire Cassidy (Gilgun) on their road trip to find God. Along the way, they’re drawn into a battle spanning Heaven, Hell and all points between.
Season Three Ratings
The third season of Preacher averaged a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 854,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 39% and 27%, respectively. Learn how Preacher stacks up against other AMC TV shows.

Will AMC cancel or renew Preacher for season four? The ratings are way down but the series is still doing pretty well for an AMC series. I suspect it will be renewed but Preacher could easily be cancelled instead. I’ll keep a hungry eye out and will update this page with breaking developments. This is the only show I watch , Please put out a season 4 with 13 episodes , I live in the Country and can not get cable so I have bought all the episodes from google and watch them thru WiFi to me this is the only current show on TV I find worth watching please don,t cancel this lots more can happen!
I pray to Dog that Preacher will be renewed. It is the wildest, quirkiest, most humorous, crazy wonderful show around. PLEASE renew it. It has SO MUCH MORE to reveal !!
Don’t see how this can possibly not be renewed for a season 4. Show is just too good and has too much left in the tank to cancel it.
This show is awesome,and very creative,love the fact that Seth Rogan had a hand in it. Please bring it back. Just because some people can’t get the humor doesn’t mean the rest of us should suffer for their ignorance. LMAO

I love this show! We spend our Sunday around watching it! It’s quirky, funny and I’m in love with the characters! Tulip, Cassidy, Jesse, all of them! I love the adventures they go on. We all held our breath when Tulip died. Seeing Jessie as a young boy was so interesting and seeing what happened to his Mother. The backstory this season has been incredible! I love Heir Star who is so dead pan and funny. Humperdoo? What can I say about Humperdoo? I want to see at least one of his clones show in in Season 4! Please renew… Read more »
If this show ends after season 3, at least end it on a good note with no cliffhangers.
Preacher is so wonderfully off the rails it just must go on! I’d rather see AMC invest in this show than in another (probably disappointing season of Dietland – liked it but they should have stuck to the damned book, and now it’s a soap opera!) Crossing all fingers and toes.
I’ve never asked for any series to be renewed before, as I hardly ever watch tv (my job is getting humanitarian aid to civilians in war zones, where for some bizarre reason they prioritize things like water & food over wi-fi)…. but something about this show’s humor just really snagged my interest. Now there are few things I enjoy more than returning to the US and finding a bunch of “Preacher” episodes on my DVR to binge-watch.
